Dear Members
The events at the club field are now well under way, and the groove I wore in it last year is slowly starting to re-appear! We kicked off with the Mini One Day Event which was well attended and the weather was corking. Followed by points dressage and it was nice to see some new faces, then the hunter show which was very kindly judged by Mr Chris Taylor. Results are further down this news letter. The new show jump has arrived, purchased with the funds raised at the curry evening. In keeping with the evening the jump has pictures of playing cards on one side and sharks teeth on the other! (Not pictures of plates of curry)
The Dressage Tests for this years points shows are P14 & Novice 20.
If you need up to date copies of the tests they are on sale at Tack & Turnout. Please check you are learning the current issue. If you are unsure please give me a ring.

Rules:
Both classes: Snaffle Bridles are preferred but we will allow any other type of bit. However please note that GAGS and any derivative thereof are NOT ALLOWED. (None snaffle bridles could be marked down)
No martingales, No spurs, short whips only (less than 30”)

12 & 13 May – POINTS SHOWJUMPING
In the club field starting with clear round at 6pm Entry fee is £4.00 per class and £2.00 for clear round. Dress code: No Show Jackets but correct hats, boots and jodhpurs. You will notice that this year there are 2 jumping shows this is to encourage those of you who are just starting out and would like to jump something a bit smaller while gaining competition experience. Please please attend these shows as this is only a trial for this year and if they are poorly attended then we will go back to just one evening. Thank you.
