Dear Members.

Since the downpour at the Pairs combined training event, we seem to have had good weather which is just about typical.  We hope to try to run the event later on when all the showing has finished and folk have more time at weekends to enter.  We have now nearly finished with all the points events at the club field.  We just have the postponed Dressage next week. Ros has sent the entry form round please let her know asap if you wish to compete.

Coming Soon – Equestrian Balancing Therapy

A therapy for mounted riders and horses devised and developed by Julie Houghton BHSI (reg’d) cert ZB.  Equestrian balancing therapy (EBT) is a hands on therapy derived from the principles of zero balancing.  The aim is to create balance and harmony with the combination of horse and rider. Our unique approach is to treat the rider whilst they are sitting on the horse, so that the changes in their body happen in the position that they are aiming to become comfortable and established in.  The horse is treated with the rider mounted so that he can adjust his balance with the rider on board.  Many therapies are available to treat rider and horse separately, but when they come together, frequently old held patterns of working return and problems re-occur.  If the pair can be treated as a pair then their balance, harmony and synchronicity builds so much more effectively and helps them to reach their full potential.

Treatments are 40mins and will cost £30 each for club members approximately depending on venue.  If you are interested please either email colnevalleysaddleclub@hotmail.co.uk or call me on 07846 326432 as soon as possible so I can book a date suitable for all.
