15th August - Local Riders Dressage

 

This event is open to members and none members.  Please remember that parking is limited so please hack to the club field if you can.  Members £8.  None Members £10.

Dressage tests will be :-

Prelim 1 (Really novice not to have been placed in any dressage)

Prelim 4

Prelim 18

Novice 28                                          (Competitors Needed)

 

19 August – EQUITATION POINTS

Starting at 6.30pm prompt, in the Club Field: Entry fee payable on the night is £5.00 per class. Dress code: show jackets

Class 1 – Novice,  Class 2 – Open

Turn Out will be judged competing for the year end Ron Joslin Trophy

Rules:

Both classes: Snaffle Bridles are preferred but we will allow any other type of bit.  However please note that GAGS and any derivative thereof are NOT ALLOWED. (None snaffle bridles could be marked down)

No martingales, No spurs, short whips only (less than 30”)

Mock Hunt – October

 

Are you interested in coming on the Mock Hunt?  I haven’t decided a route as yet but would like to hear from you if you have land available for us to cross sensibly.  The root will take in the club field with some optional jumping.  Usually we start at the Wills, or White House with a stirrup cup and the ride takes approx 2hrs.  You can leave the ride or join where you like, all I ask is that you stay behind me at all times and let me know if you’re off home.  Members and guests are welcome.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  Tel 07841 535563 Nicola.

BALLY

Amazing Pony Club Pony - 13’2hh (137cm), 15-year-old chestnut mare.

This amazing honest little pony does everything, been on the mounted games team ’06 ’07 ’08, polo crosse team ’07 ’08, very quick and nippy; always wins jumping, hunted with Rockwood Harriers ’07 ’08 goes first or last and loves cross country.  Forward going and safe she jumps anything (ditches, drops, water etc). Perfect on the road alone or in company.
