Happy New Year to you all!!
A bit of a belated happy new year greeting but this is the first newsletter of the year. We have a few events to start the new year with. See further down the newsletter for these events.
We would like to also say a big thank you and welcome to our new committee members Danni Thompson, Rachael Hobson, Siobhan Martin and Alison Shaw.
SUBSCRIPTIONS If you haven’t yet renewed your subscription then this is a reminder that your MEMBERSHIP FEE IS NOW OVERDUE, so please rejoin us today we don’t want to lose you! If any member introduces someone to join the club they will get a free entry to a club event!

Without the help of sponsorship it’s very hard to run the show.
We are looking at holding a Dog 1st Aid Course. (Real dogs need not be brought to the course ….a pretend one is provided!!) Please lodge your interest by either emailing colnevalleysaddleclub@hotmail.co.uk or by speaking to any committee member.

9 April 2012 – Easter Ride. Smart casual or fancy dress. Easter egg prize for best of each category. Entry for Easter ride £2.00 for members and £3.00 for non members. Join the club on the day and get your easter ride entry for £2.00. Meet at club field at 10.30 for promt start. Non members welcome.
Due to the success of the Curry Buffet at the AGM, we’ll have another, possibly in March. We are also aiming to hold a social event of Casino and Cocktails also to be held March 2012.

Lovely quality Cob/Full Size Black English Leather Yearling In Hand
Show Bridle with Matching Butterfly Lead Rein. Has silver coloured
buckles and rosettes. Lead rein tightens round back of noseband giving
control when needed. Bought new last season for my HW traditional
piebald filly. Only tried on, never got to a show in it so in A1
condition. Looks stunning on piebald, grey or black horses £45.
Brand new With Tags Black Leather Cob Size In Hand Bridle. Not
English leather but decent enough for local showing. Comfort padded
headpiece and noseband. Noseband and browband are raised with fancy
stitching £15.
6'9" (on the small side) WeatherBeeta Lightweight Navy Turnout. In
reasonably good condition. Has a couple of very small snags but plenty
of wear left in it £20.

Person needed to ride/jump/compete on 13.3hh pony.
Younger person or small adult needed to enjoy and have fun with this lovely pony, and compete in jumping,dressage or any pony club activities. Very easy to handle pony, proving to be a very careful jumper could go far with confident, experienced person. Will carry up to 9 stones. No cost to yourselves.
