BRIDLEWAYS

Slippery Road Complaints

After complaining to Kirklees and obtaining your reference number please email the details to Nicola at turner_scape@yahoo.co.uk or Nicola.turner@kirklees.gov.uk  so that the extent of the problems can be ascertained.  Nicola has discovered that there is to be some re-surfacing in the Colne Valley area.  She has queried the use of S.M.A and has been alarmed to discover that Kirklees does not have a policy as to its use/none use.  As is evident – they are already laying it anywhere!  (According to the BHS, it is recommended that there should be a policy so that the potential problems with horse traffic can be avoided – especially areas such as Kirklees with very limited and none joined up bridleway networks).
