Dear Members

This years Jump Cross is a little later than planned but I hope to run it on the 27th September.  Helpers will be greatly appreciated to put the course together.  Also if you have any portable XC jumps I could borrow that too would be greatly appreciated.

 

27th September – JUMP CROSS – Club Field

This will run along similar lines to the ODE we held earlier in the year without the Dressage obviously.  It would be excellent if we had the same turnout.  Make a note in your diary for this event. Schedule enclosed

 

Holme Valley Team Jumping

25TH October 2009

 

Would you like to represent the saddle club at the Holme Valley Team Show jumping to be held at Woodnook.  We are looking for 2 teams for the Novice and Intermediate classes.  Please complete the form and return with £5.00

Class 1        NOVICE TEAMS for NOVICE riders or NOVICE horses/ponies

JUMPS IN FIRST ROUND APPROX. 60 cm

                THIS CLASS IS FOR NOVICES AS FOLLOWS:

       HORSES/PONIES THAT HAVE NOT WON £50 IN ANY SHOW JUMPING

       ANY COMBINATION OF HORSE/PONY & RIDER THAT HAVE NOT WON A FIRST IN ANY SHOW JUMPING

       ANY RIDER 10 YEARS & UNDER

Class 2        INTERMEDIATE TEAMS - HORSES/PONIES  JUMPS IN FIRST ROUND APPROX. 75 cm

Class 3        OPEN TEAMS - HORSES/PONIES  JUMPS IN FIRST ROUND APPROX. 95 cm

 

Presentation Evening, AGM & Sop Supper

26th October 2009 @ Travellers Rest. 

This years AGM will be at the Travellers Rest from 8pm followed by the presentation of this years points trophies. 

We have lots of rosettes and trophies to give out including the best member at the annual show, overall points champion and most improved horse or rider – Will it be you? 

Supper will be served following the presentation.  If you would like supper please return the ticket stub enclosing £3.00 and indicating sop sandwich or vegetarian option.  Please come along to support your club and cheer your fellow members on in their achievements.  New members welcome
