17th June 6 till 9pm CLUB WALL MAINTENANCE
This was poorly attended with just the same people helping as usual. We made a start but due to the low numbers helping we will need to re-arrange to do some more ground work before the waller can get started. Please come and do what ever you can, even the odd hour will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Burghley Horse Trials 6th - 4th September 2009
There were no takers for this trip! Judy & I are thinking of just going for the Cross Country day on the Saturday. If you would prefer just to go for the day please give me a call asap. 07841 535563.
9/10 June & 7/8 July – POINTS SHOWJUMPING
In the club field starting with clear round at 6pm Entry fee is £4.00 per class and £2.00 for clear round. Dress code: No Show Jackets but correct hats, boots and jodhpurs. You will notice that this year there are 2 jumping shows this is to encourage those of you who are just starting out and would like to jump something a bit smaller while gaining competition experience. Please please attend these shows as this is only a trial for this year and if they are poorly attended then we will go back to just one evening. Thank you.

The Dressage Tests for this years points shows are P14 & Novice 20.
If you need up to date copies of the tests they are on sale at Tack & Turnout. Please check you are learning the current issue. If you are unsure please give me a ring

Starting at 6.30pm prompt, in the Club Field: Entry fee payable on the night is £5.00 per class. Dress code: show jackets
Class 1 – Novice, Class 2 – Open
Turn Out will be judged competing for the year end Ron Joslin Trophy
Rules:
Both classes: Snaffle Bridles are preferred but we will allow any other type of bit. However please note that GAGS and any derivative thereof are NOT ALLOWED. (None snaffle bridles could be marked down)
No martingales, No spurs, short whips only (less than 30”)
