The AGM/Presentation evening went well but was poorly attended.

The results of the evening are as follows.

2007 Trophies

Turnout = Eileen Senior & Cherry

Most Improved Rider/Horse = Nicola Marshall & Horace

Overall Points Champion = Nicola Marshall & Horace

Novice Showjumping = Linzi Wagstaff & Aura

Intermediate Showjumping = Sarah Quarmby & Poppy

Open Showjumping = Suzi Thomas & Sweet Honesty

Novice Equitation = Judy Jubb & Carousel

Open Equitation = Eileen Senior & Cherry

P4 Dressage = Judy Jubb & Carousel

P18 Dressage = Judy Jubb & Carousel

All trophies to be held for one year, and returned for next years AGM.

We have two spaces on the committee please contact me if you would like to join us. We meet at the travelers rest, Meltham on a Monday evening once a month. New faces and fresh ideas are always welcome.

It was decided at the AGM that the club would lower its age restriction for members from 17 to 14 years of age. Should you know anyone who would like to join a membership form is on the website. colnevalleysaddleclub.org.uk

Your subs are now due and are still at £12.00 for riding members and £5 for social members, all cheques should be made out to Colne Valley Saddle Club and posted to Ros Lawton @ 124 Towngate, Netherthong, Holmfirth, HD9 3XZ

Suggestion Forms went out with last month’s newsletter and were on tables at the AGM. I have only had 3 back. Please, please can you either return them to Tack n Turn out or email me with your responses we need your input to make 2008 successful. We want to run events that you would like to enter!! Sunday 25th November - Team Show Jumping @ Woodnook

Rockwood Pony Club are holding a Team Show Jumping event. Should you wish to be on the Colne Valley Saddle Club Team please contact me as soon as possible to that I can arrange the entries. Classes are Novice, Intermediate & Open.

4 year old Registered Coloured Shetland Pony. 32” easy to catch, load, trim feet, broken but needs work. Would go well in a trap. Cheeky Chap needs a loving home as he has had a rough start.
