Our new committee met for the first time on the 17th November and I would like to welcome some old and new faces to the committee.  We are looking forward to 2009 and are busy planning the calendar.  Our first event is going to be a Curry & Cards night at the Cinnamon Lodge in Meltham. Curry & Cards Night 27th January 2009 Cinnamon Lodge Meltham 7.30pm

Our first event of the New Year will be an evening with Bruce Forsyth (John Eaton really)  in an effort to raise funds for much needed new show jumps.

Tickets are £12 and are available from all committee members and yes you guessed it “Tack & Turnout”.  After the buffet style curry there will be a chance to have a go at play your cards right and the winner could walk away with a fortune!  (Ahem well a few quid!) You don’t have to be a member to come, everyone welcome. 

 

 

 

 

 

Rockwood Harriers Pony Club Team Show Jumping 30 November Woodnook

There was a lack of interest for this competition which was disappointing, but we managed to send an intermediate team, consisting of me, Janette Williams, Charlotte Hallas and Heather Hopkinson who I have to thank yet again for getting her boots back out. Also big thanks to Judy Jubb for lending Carrie who I’m sure just loves this show jumping lark! 

 

The next team showjumping is West Yorkshire Horse Play on the 18th January 2009. If you would like to represent CVSC at the competition please return the form below with the correct fee.

We have ONE space on the committee please contact me if you would like to join us.  We meet at the travelers rest, Meltham on a Monday evening once a month. New faces and fresh ideas are always welcome.  Next Meeting Monday 8th at 8pm.  Please come along.
